Naturopathic remedies and natural health are rapidly gaining favor.
Naturopathic remedies just uses a long word to say “keep well naturally.”
Maybe not quite that simple – naturopathy is a clearly defined and extensively practiced alternative to conventional medicine. But the underlying principle to this and many similar practices is a belief in the body’s innate ability to heal itself.
Part of that conviction has to do with balance – balance of nature and the fact that our bodies come out of the box naturally balanced. When you fall ill, the body becomes unbalanced, and the role of naturopathic medicine is to identify specific remedies that restore that balance naturally.
I like that idea. And that’s why I started this blog. We are seeing a lot of new players in the field of health care that have little in common with conventional medicine. I’m not so interested in how they differ from each other but I do like the concept of finding natural health cures instead of stuffing drugs down my throat.
I also want to know as much as possible about anything I consume. Here’s an example:click here to read about a really different weight loss supplement from West Africa. This is one of my personal favorite sources of natural products.

In most cases, the only thing new may be the name: for thousands of years, every indigenous race has had skilled healers who cure and treat various ailments through the use of a variety of plants with specific healing properties.
I’m talking about all natural cures

Natural treatments really do work
Naturopathic remedies WILL change the rest of your life for the better. In the last few years, they have become increasingly popular because of their high efficacy rate in treating common illnesses as well as an absence of side effects. In some everyday areas — for example cholesterol management or blood pressure treatments — the use of natural health remedies is becoming even more widely accepted that medical prescriptions.

Many of the naturopathic doctors practicing in the United States today are both MDs and NDs, meaning they have completed studies for both allopathic (Western) medicine and for naturopathic medicine.
